To train Learners in the proper design and management of surface dressing operations so that they can complete the works to the correct standard, effectively and safely, consistent with quality assurance standards.
In particular,
Learners will be able to;
Survey a site and gather the necessary data
Select a suitable surface dressing type
Complete a surface dressing design in accordance with the IAT Design process
Plan the works
Carry out inspections and identify defects
Take corrective and remedial works
