Objective:
To inform and facilitate discussion within Local Authorities and stakeholders on current issues relating to Irelands road network
Audience:
Roads and Transportation Management and Engineering Staff, as well as Consultants and Contractors working in Road and Transportation.
Topic:
There continues to be many demands in terms of maintaining and improving the regional and local road network. The main focus of the regional and local road investment programme is the maintenance of the network including resealing of road surfaces along with road and bridge rehabilitation works. In addition, under the National Development Plan a number of new projects are being constructed.
The Conference will provide a context to investment in roads by reference to developments in relation to Climate Change, Asset Management and the Public Spending Code.
